Depuis le 5 avril 2001, les fermes pédagogiques sont considérées telles qu’elles. Elles peuvent prendre différentes formes, allant de la ferme d’animation à l’exploitation agricole. Mais toujours dans un but unique : celui de l’apprentissage pour les plus jeunes.
Que ce soit dans un but scolaire ou bien pour occuper vos dimanches en famille, les fermes pédagogiques proposent une découverte de la faune et de la flore éducative.
Et si vous ne savez pas que des fermes existent près de chez vous, des réseaux de fermes pédagogiques existent comme « Accueil paysan » ou encore « Bienvenue à la ferme ».
À Marseille, la ville se démarque en comptant 3 fermes pédagogiques à son actif, la seule en France. Reliées à la mairie, ces fermes s’inscrivent dans un cadre scolaire et rentrent dans le programme éducatif pour les jeunes écoliers.
